Reimagining personal finance for the digital generation
Overview
Finova needed a complete redesign to compete in an increasingly crowded fintech space. Users were abandoning the app at critical moments, citing confusion and visual overwhelm.
The Challenge
The existing product had 12+ years of design debt, 3 incompatible design languages, and zero component consistency. Users couldn't find core features and the onboarding had a 71% drop rate.
The Solution
We conducted 40+ user interviews, mapped 6 distinct user archetypes, and rebuilt the entire product from a unified design system outward — ensuring every pixel served a purposeful function.
