Overview
Atlas is a project orchestration platform for enterprise teams. The product had grown organically over 5 years into an unusable maze of features with no coherent information architecture.
The Challenge
Enterprise users were spending 40% of their time just navigating the product. The navigation had 4 levels of nesting and critical workflows required 11+ clicks to complete.
The Solution
Ran a 6-week discovery sprint with 15 enterprise clients. Rebuilt the IA from scratch using card sorting and tree testing. Designed a contextual navigation system that adapts to user role and workflow state.
